The Ganiere Power System is not aimed at the passenger automobile market. It is aimed at Recreational Vehicles, large powerboats, school busses and over-the-road trucks.

Demonstrably, our new electric boat Crack O’ Dawn can run 12 hours on a full charge at 6 knots on just 2000 watts of power. That’s less wattage than most handheld hair dryers!

Equipped with The Ganiere Power System, an RV could get 40 miles per gallon, opposed to current technology delivering a measly 5 mpg, and over the road tractor/trailer rigs could get as much as 30 mpg.

The Ganiere Power System is:

  • Extremely low maintenance
  • Low cost to retrofit
  • Very fast payback
  • Greatly reduces greenhouse gas emissions
  • Uses existing technology and readily-available parts
  • Superior acceleration
  • Can be configured 3 ways:
    • On-board “clean” diesel generator
    • Solar powered recharging
    • 100% electric “plug in to recharge”

Engineered Electric is a surprisingly inexpensive, environmentally sound alternative to fossil fuel propulsion.
GPS' New Electric "Tug" Fishing Boat

The Asher Tugboat is extremely maneuverable. It will turn a 360 degree circle in its own length.
The boat is rudderless; instead it has a nozzle surrounding the propeller that turns 22 degrees off center to port or starboard.
It has a bow thruster to aid in maneuvering. The thruster retracts into the boat when not in use.
An anchor windless is employed with a 6 pound Danforth anchor. No need to go forward to set or retrieve the anchor. The anchor winch locks when not in use, eliminating the requirement of going forward to cleat the anchor line.
The pilot house folds down to allow for raising the boat on a lift platform in the boat house.
A side entry door has been added so that a level entry from the dock onto the boat can be made with the use of a short gangway for mobility impaired individuals.
The pilot house windscreen forward windows open electrically to facilitate air flow through the pilot house on hot days.
The generator set automatically starts when the battery state drops below 220 volts and shuts off automatically when the charge state reaches 320 volts DC. The generator can also be manually operated.
The Asher Tug has a gasoline engine, but a Diesel generator is also available.
The boat has 24 12 volt Deka 110 amp hour batteries.
The propulsion motor is a 10 hp Marine duty Nord, 3 phase, 220 volt AC motor.
The Ganiere Power System Controller converts DC power to 3 phase AC power, thereby providing smooth, quiet controllable power for up to 14 hours of running time before the generator has to be run.
